Concierge In-Home Care Services
Lifeline Companion Services is a full-service Concierge In-home Senior Care Agency founded in 2005 and is licensed through the California Department of Social Services #194700041 Home Care Organization. We provide 6 – 24 hour one-on-one personal care to seniors who require moderate to total care assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, toileting, medication reminders, meal prep, shopping, light housekeeping, transportation and companionship.
As a Concierge Agency, the range of our services, plus resources available throughout the geriatric community, provides an opportunity to assist clients and their families from the beginning of our care onward as changes may occur.
Durable Medical Equipment and Home Safety Modification
Our services extend to assisting families find reliable durable medical equipment providers for care products that might include hospital bed rentals, portable commodes, narrow wheelchairs for home use, walkers, gait belts and a myriad of other products needed during temporary or on-going care and safety. We have resources for home modification specialists for installation of handrails, removable shower heads, ramps or even when stair chair-lifts are needed.
Geriatric Care, Home Health and Community Outreach
Lifeline has established years of advocating for seniors in the communities that we serve and with professionals who have the experience and resources available for individuals and families in need of additional oversight. Our relationships with Geriatric Care Managers, geriatricians who treat adults specifically with aging conditions that require medical and neurological oversight, and community-based outreach groups such as the Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Associations adds value to the services we offer our clients and provides support to them when challenging decisions must be made.
Personal Grooming Services
Personal grooming is important to our clients. When you look good, you feel better, so when our clients are unable, for any reason, to travel to a barber, beauty shop or nail salon or if they need minor podiatry care, we have resources available who can travel to the home and provide those services whenever needed.
Safety and Fall Prevention Specialists
The majority of falls occur either in the home or in the surrounding neighborhood while walking. Lifeline has been assessing client’s home for safety hazards for the past 16 years and we have educated hundreds of seniors on best practices for making their home safe by removing rugs, clutter in walk areas, shower slippage, poor foot coverings without grip, adding ramps where steps are a hazard both indoors outdoors, etc.
