The Home Care Standards Bureau awards A+ certification only to home care agencies that meet and adhere to a stringent code of standards and ethics. These standards require agencies to be fully insured and licensed, perform thorough background checks and provide comprehensive training for all their caregivers. Agencies must also provide services to families in a fair and transparent manner, providing care with dignity and trust. Once achieved, A+ certified agencies submit to regular audits to ensure that all HCSB standards are being maintained.
